Auditioning and Enrolling

The Academy’s School Year runs from September through June. Regular Academic Program (RAP) is for students, 3* to 18 years old. Admission to the RAP Term is by audition only, auditioning all year long. Enrollment limited to the class capacity.

*Children must be 3 years old by September 1 to enroll for that academy's school year.

Admission Criteria

To be admitted to OMBA aspirants must be young enough to obtain the maximum benefit from their education, they must be in excellent health and have an anatomical conditions suited to the great demands of classical dance: flexibility, proportions, coordination, turned-out adaptability, flexible feet and Achilles’ tendon. They should also show a imaginative and creative response to music and passion.


General Auditions

General auditions are held all year long from July to May for 3-18 year olds. Students ages 12-18 who are interested in the Pre Professional Program must audition to the Regular Academic Program first. Auditions are free of any charge. More information is sent to your email after you register.


Regular Academic Program – RAP

Primary Division

Made up with the Pre-Primary (3-4 yo), Primary A (4-6) and Primary B Levels (5-8). One parent must attend a meeting/interview with the Academy’s registrar.

Auditions are held, and have the duration of a regular class in the respective level the audition is taking place for.

We do not recommend buying any ballet attire due to future specific dress code requirement if admitted and enrolled.

Young Division

Made up with the 1st (7-9 yo), 2nd (8-10) and 3rd (9-14) level. One parent must attend a meeting/interview with the Academy’s registrar.

Auditions are held, and have the duration of a regular class in the respective level the audition is taking place for.

High Division

Directed to students with years of training, girls are required to have at least 2 years of pointe work. This division is made up with the 4th and 5th Level of the Academy, this is students 12 to 18 years old.

Auditions are complimentary, parents need to attend an interview with the academy’s registrar while the student is auditioning.

Pre-Professional Academic Program – PAP

This program’s admission is to the discretion of the Academic Director therefore only by invitation after evaluation while being enrolled in the RAP
