Orlando MET’s primary division comprehends Pre-Primary, Primary A, and Primary B levels, for ages 3 to 7.

Based on the American Ballet Theater National Training Curriculum©, and the Cuban Method our classes are design carefully to provide our students with the best preparatory training for Ballet. All new students must register for a audition class without regard to whether the aspirant has had previous ballet training.

Objectives

Develop muscle memory, flexibility, strength, musicality, coordination, and discipline with a fun approach.

Level Promotions

Orlando MET applies examinations to all students twice a year, by the end of every term (December, and June)

Why auditions?

Every child is different, depending on their natural abilities, concentration, maturity, response to corrections, affiliation with others in of the group, previous knowledge, etc. They may benefit more from a certain level than from the regular age-based level. Orlando MET does not place students only based on their ages.

Productions

All students are invited, at least, to perform in the end-of-the-year ballet production, our show take place at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts in June.

Orlando MET’s repertoire keeps growing every season, our Youth Studio Company keeps producing one full-length ballet every season. At OMBA we love giving the opportunity to dance full ballets to all our students.
